Indian Artist Rishad Hydrose Creates the World’s First Handmade Illustrated Quran — A Historic Blend of Faith and Art

In a remarkable display of devotion and artistic mastery, Rishad Hydrose (India) has etched his name into history by creating the world’s first handmade illustrated Quran. Officially certified by Arabian World Records on 24th October 2025 (Certificate No: AWR001095), this extraordinary piece stands as a unique fusion of faith, creativity, and craftsmanship.

Measuring 75 cm in width and 85 cm in height, the Quran is entirely handmade — from the precise Arabic calligraphy to the detailed illustrations adorning its pages. Every design element reflects deep spiritual symbolism and artistic integrity.

During an exclusive conversation, Rishad Hydrose shared the inspiration behind his groundbreaking work:

“The Quran has always been my guiding light,” he said with a smile. “I wanted to express its beauty through art — not to change its words, but to celebrate them visually. Every line I drew was done with respect, love, and prayer.”

Rishad spent several months designing and handcrafting the project, using natural inks, traditional brushes, and eco-friendly paper. His approach combined the discipline of classical Islamic art with a modern aesthetic, resulting in a masterpiece that transcends time and culture.

When asked about the challenges he faced, Rishad explained:

“Patience was my biggest teacher. There were days when I would spend hours perfecting a single pattern. But each moment felt like an act of worship. I believe true art comes when your heart and your hands move together in peace.”

Experts and art enthusiasts across the world have hailed the creation as a historic contribution to Islamic art. Many have praised Rishad’s ability to transform faith into a visual experience, blending spiritual reverence with artistic expression.

Arabian World Records commended the artist for his dedication and innovation, describing the illustrated Quran as “a masterpiece that bridges devotion and design, inspiring future generations to see art as a reflection of faith.”

The recognition marks a proud moment not only for Rishad Hydrose but also for India, showcasing the country’s rich legacy of creativity and spiritual artistry.

“This recognition isn’t just mine,” Rishad concluded humbly. “It belongs to every artist who believes that faith can inspire something beautiful. I hope this Quran reminds people that art, when made with sincerity, becomes a form of prayer.”

With this achievement, Rishad Hydrose has not only set a new world record but also redefined how sacred art can be experienced — with the eyes, the hands, and the soul.
